Telerehabilitation in Low- and Middle-income Countries

Telemedicine is the delivery of healthcare services using information and communication technologies (ICT) to its users. Mobile communications in telemedicine or health (mHealth) most commonly accepted mode low- middle-income countries (LMICs) due affordability user-friendly features. may be used treat, prevent monitor conditions; as well promote educate clients. Access medical rehabilitation LMICs limited lack expertise, geographical locations, sociocultural issues. Telerehabilitation (TR) a practical solution circumvent these barriers LMICs. TR providers must possess necessary knowledge, skills, expertise deliver quality clients while ensuring patient safety adhering ethics regulations. Policymakers administrators should ensure vulnerable groups are included when making policies on services.
